Giver

In The Giver, it looks like you cant chooses anything. The Elder chooses who you get paired with, they give you a job, and you cant have your own kid. You can appeal but its hardly going to make a difference. Rules are rules.

    i think so. its better to make your own choices than someone else is making them for you. that way you can live life the way you want to live it.
